Malossi front shock absorber for Vespa.

Position: Front.

Wheelbase: 227mm.

Stroke: 75mm.

Regenerable oil-pneumatic shock absorber with double-lamellar piston and diaphragm compensation.

36 mm diameter piston with two independent reed valve packs: one in extension and one in compression; lamellar system in harmonic steel with leaf spring configuration.

LUBRIFLON-PTFE B70 piston guide shoe (bronze loaded modified compound).

Sliding on GUIDA DU bush (composite obtained by sintering a layer of spheroidal bronze on a suitably processed mild steel strip and with subsequent impregnation and coating of a mixture of PTFE+PB).

Scraper ring in polyester resin SEALTHANE grade 9345.

Ø 14 mm shock absorber rod in 38NCD4 alloy steel, hardened and tempered with 25/30 micron hard chrome deposit (surface hardness of the shaft not yet treated HRC 55/60).
